This is a very handsome publication. I enjoyed reading Ms. Guler’s book, but that almost didn’t happen. Very quickly I realized the story was going to be told in a very definite feminine voice despite having the appearances of being a legendary style action story. It would have benefited from a more careful proofreading.

It is an enjoyable read if one understands its premise. It is presented in a very romantic way about two characters who have so many classic flaws as to contradict the romance. He a king with an empire at a precarious time abandons all that for which he has been prepared for a woman who can’t seem to keep a marriage vow for more than a few years.
