When it rains it pours. On today’s news I heard that Don Kennard died early Friday morning. He had been in a local hospital since he had a brain aneurysm rupture last weekend. Mr. Kennard had been my academic advisor at the LSU athletic department … back in the day and was a member of the LSU Athletic Department from 1963 to 2001. He was also a member of the LSU Football radio broadcast team.
He was a veteran Baton Rouge state Representative ,serving eight terms in the Louisiana House. He was first elected in 1975.
He was a resident of the town of Central. His wife is the former Ramona Norris. His children are Robin Lisa Kennard and Stacy Rae Kennard Doucet.
