As a life-long resident and proud son of Louisiana, I enjoy exploring her proud history and its significance to so many. Family is important to me and, again, history too as genealogy has always been an interest of mine. History in general is important, the pedigree of a technique or technology, of a word or idea, of a nation or a piece of property, or that of a person.
Day-to-day I am part of the team that makes up the Center for Geoinformatics at Louisiana State University. Also, I enjoy providing expert consultation, giving seminars, gardening and fishing. I am a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor and Certified Federal Surveyor, a Fellow of ACSM & NSPS, intent on providing individual, business and government consulting services, specializing in work related to GPS/GNSS, Geodesy, Property/Boundary and Historical surveying.
When there is time I enjoy writing and continued education on a wide range of topics.Tony .
