Expert Witness
Mr. Cavell is available for expert witnesse service in land surveying and land use matters. He has previous direct experience in cases involving proper determination of elevations and flood zones, proper interpretation of and analysis of topographic data and the use of both historical as well as up-to-date methods of survey measurements. Because of his extensive expertise, he is uniquely qualified to provide discrete consultation services to Attorneys or other Land Surveyors. This consultation can include advice in the areas of standard of care, ethical conduct other matters related to land surveying and positioning.
He can work with legal counsel in organizing and developing exhibits and defenses associated with claims made against professional land surveyors and others in connection with the boundary dispute resolutions, surveys and associated land surveying matters. Mr. Cavell is a Fellow of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, Secretary of the National Society of Professional Surveyors Board of Governors and a Past President of the Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyors.
