David Sandler’s book Fundamental Weight Training is well composed with lots of good information and clearly written. As always, trying to take a book to the gym and reading while performing an exercise doesn’t work well and a personal coach always beats interpreting a book alone. As a book of fundamentals, I would have preferred it to be aimed more at one using free weights privately at home. The author seems to assume access to many machines not available to me. The charts and explanations are very helpful. The book is high quality and I know I will benefit over time from it. ( )
