Wishing an enjoyable day to all fathers. The day will be more poignant this year than ever. It will be the first Fathers’ Day I’ve ever spent without talking to my dad. Dad died last month and is sorely missed. He was of course the father every son wants to emulate but whom no son could ever hope to live up to.
Fathers, enjoy your day. Make it special to your children. It is they more than you to whom this day is most sentimental and eventually, will be priceless.

Yes Tony, we are all going to miss Dad today. I know he was very proud of you!
…so well said! Like you, I miss my father and I always will – I thank God for him. I will say a prayer for your father, too. I know the emptiness you feel –
Enjoy your children today – and the memories of their yesterdays!
Happy Fathers Day!
Happy Father’s Day! I think you’re a pretty great dad!
Such an enjoyable day such as Father’s Day not only as a father, but like you a grandfather as well. However, the joy was bittersweet not being able to share that joy with Dad either personally or on the phone. But as with each passing day I find solace in knowing that he is with me daily and that he knows that we all truly love him, and in addition he now gets to spend this Father’s Day with the son he hasn’t shared it with in 47 years.
